Toronto Gig broadcasts on 3Sat (german TV)

Featured Replies

Good news for european Coldplay Fans. The german TV Program "3Sat" will broadcast the Toronto 2006 Concert on January 1st, 2007. Air Time will be 1.30 am (CET -1). Looks like the broadcast will take approx. 1 hour (3Sat does not have advertising).

You can receive 3Sat on Astra Satellite (19,2 East) and on german cabel networks. the channel is usually unencrypted, and broadcasts on digital transponder. (Link-> http://www.3sat.de/poparoundtheclock_index.html)

By the way, 3sat will broadcast a lot concerts on that day (U2, Depeche Mode, etc.).

Can't wait for new years day ;-)

cheers

Markus

Yaaaaaay the famous 3sat concert day - they call it "Concerts around the clock" or something like that, it's every New Years Eve :D

Thanks a lot!! Woohoo!!

You lucky german people!!

Thanks for the message! Can't wait to watch it! :nice:

God, I so love this channel during silvester! The whole day they're broadcasting only great concerts every year. I remember watching an astonishing Bon Jovi concert last year on this channel.

After showing gigs from eg. David Gilmour, Johnny Cash and Elton John on December 31st, they will start with Pink Floyd (Earls Court, London) at midnight, followed by U2 (Chicago, USA) at 00:45. After Coldplay they will broadcast Depeche Mode's concert in Milan. :nice:

I think 3Sat is also available in Austria and Switzerland.

I hate the fact that I have no cable or satellite. :bigcry:

I could burn it on a DVD (thanks to my woonderful DVD recorder) and send it to you if you want to :D As a belated Christmas gift somehow :P

Oh that's awesome!

I discovered Coldplay thanks to that concert-day on 3 Sat in 2005 :cheesy:

I'll definitely watch it :)

Thanx for the info. I am going to record it on my comp with my DVBT TV card!

French TVs suck!!!!

They will wait 4 months before to discover that there is a Coldplay gig to broadcast!

They had a coldplay concerts on that list two years ago as well. Only it was from 4 until 5. I actually woke up at 4, sneaked into my brother's room and watched it with the volume almost down. :stunned:

This means this year my friends are forced to sit down and watch Coldplay. YAY!

Can't wait till pop around the clock this year :D

I only programmed the dvd recorder to tape U2, Coldplay and Depeche Mode in a row for now - it won't hold more than that :P
