No concerts in Russia. Why?

You'd think they'd all like the labeling though? Socialist sound so much neither in my ears but maybe that's because of all the Socialist youth camps I've been to...

how would you call them then? democrat?? nah...

the idea of socialism and communism was similar, there are more similarities than differences between them.

the only main difference that socialism is a dictatorship, meanwhile communism is a central government with no differences between classes

unfortunately, communism never worked and will never do... if people have power, they want more, that's the main problem.

believing in Marxism is still nice though ;)

Because I own photos of my Russian friend in a bathing suit in her Grandma's backyard.

How do you know the photo wasn't taken in sub-zero temperatures??

Because she's not that stupid and we actually talk.

And how would you know??

I never said I did!!

Same goes for somebody living in Berlin, though!!:P

you don't have to live in Russia to know the temperature differences between summer and winter, though :dozey:

Oh come on - everyone knows that it's always "winter" in Russia and all the Russians drink vodka to keep warm!! You only have to watch films like "Red Heat" with Dolph (always gets the Russian rôles) Lundgren!!:laugh3:

Really, it's not so cold in Russia as many people suppose. By the way Russia is not only the deep Siberia where it's too cold in winter... ;)

I can tell you that the difference between summer and winter temperature became considerably less. Or to be more exact, during december it was near 0-2 degrees! Usually it's from -5 to -10... Maybe it's global warming? :)

If I only knew about the place I lived in it'd be kind of sad though, wouldn't it?

Plus I could have actually said I know it from geography classes, afterall I did learn about the weather, temperate and all that shit of Great Britain, Denmark, Sweden, France, Spain and the U.S. GOD WAS THAT BORING

Thank God, I could drop geography, all for biology and history.

Useless discussion... We discuiss things which have nothing common with the theme

Well, staying on topic, I guess european musicians don't like Russia too much. The only popular band that has been here is Muse, that's it. Maybe that's because our country has a reputation of an 'outdated' one so musicians just don't think there're many fans enough to manage a concert. I guess that makes sense - not too many Coldplay fans here.

Aha... Do you think that everything in this film is right??? It's just a stereotype that the Russians drink vodka and do nothing more... This is the misunderstanding of the real sutuation... I said about it earlier.

I am an A-HA fan, maybe you know this norwegian group... So there have been Russian tour recently... And they visited a lot of Russin cities and towns even in province. And after that fact you want to tell us that all the european groups don't like us?

Okay, not that they all dislike us... But what I'm saying is that 'big bands', you know, like Coldplay or erm, Radiohead, probably won't ever visit Russia. But that doesn't mean there's no chance for us to see them live - you can go to another country, like Finland, Hungary or something like that.

If Radiohead didn't like Russia it's rather because of the government. Although, I mean they still tour the US even though they don't like the government. Have Radiohead never even been to Moskow?

Rammstein have

They haven't. Though I don't think it's because of the government. That's just silly - that's not the people's fault, at least not the ones that'd come to see them live.
