I would like to apologise for the recent events that involve the spammer called (o)(o), and I will try to explain what has been happening.

This morning after reading busybeeburns’ thread on the matter, I found out one of my brother (11 years old) was responsible for posting all the inappropriate material and offensive comments. I would like to apologise to the coldplaying message board for his actions, and I will do my best from preventing this sort of thing reoccurring.

I am not entirely sure how he has managed it but we do share an internet connection, and I also discovered that he was using my email address to sign up to the forum, but im not sure whether someone can simultaneously log in as another person using the same internet connection. I read in busybeeburns’ post that the two users have been using the same computer, so if he has been using my computer while im not aware of it, I will make sure to use passwords and restrictions on certain applications so that this never happens again.

Please forgive my brother’s immaturity as he is still only quite young, even though I know that is not the best of excuses I can come up with. He knew I liked coldplay and that I had joined a fansite to get to know people with similar interests, but I had no idea he would take advantage of this. I apologise again on behalf of my brother and I am sorry for the trouble that we have caused. It is really ultimately my own fault for allowing this to happen as I should have been more aware of what was happening. I have now changed the password for my email address so that no one can use it as a means to be abusive and insulting towards people, here and anywhere on the internet. I’m so sorry to the people who have been on the receiving end of the offensive comments and I know that’s not what anyone should tolerate and be subject to. I am especially sorry to as they have been attacked directly by him, and I hope you can forgive me for the stupid mistakes that I have allowed to happen.

I hope this has answered a few questions but I am very sorry that I have probably been a big nusence to many people and for disrupting an environment which is supposed to be friendly. Please understand that I will do what it takes to prevent this from happening again. I will appologise individually to those who have encountered him, and I hope you can forgive me, but I will understand if u can’t. And if busybeeburns’ has not already done so, I shall attempt to delete the account if it is within my rights, as I now know the password that he has been using to login.

Yes I can see it...thanks for the apology....even though i was not affected by the aforementioned spammer...good on you for taking action and apologising to everyone.....I'm sure it was not fun for you at all to have to deal with this now...

I see zemy, oh well thats completely understandable. My sister has been threatening to do the same thing for a long time... I have no idea whether she has or not :uhoh2: However I have my suspicians...

Thanks for apologizing. (o)(o) said some not so nice things to me. Glad it is cleared up. Don't feel bad, its not your fault little siblings are such buggers sometimes! (Speaking from experience :P)

PS: I share an email account with a friend (one of my closest friends) and she sometimes comes in and post. Has anyone noticed? haha I don't think she remembers the password by now though but she did logged in a couple of times years ago. She even asked me the other day if I still visit this site hehe
