March 14, 200719 yr Hey everyone, So a lot of bands/artists sound great recorded, but then live they fall short of their recordings. For example... I think Moses Mayfield was very impressive. Totally unexpected. Just pre-ordered their cd andddd I'll be going to see them live on Friday with Pete Yorn. What bands/artists have you seen live that just blew you away at how tight they were?
March 14, 200719 yr I went to see Counting Crows and LIVE a few years ago, and CC blew LIVE off the stage, they were so tight. I think they might have been tighter live than they are in the studio, lol.
March 14, 200719 yr Definitely Elvis Jackson. Total partybreakers :) great live performance, including goodies for the audience.... I  them!
March 16, 200719 yr yeah muse are really increadible. even as a support-band to Depeche Mode they stole the show
March 16, 200719 yr i don't know if this counts, but the best concert i've seen was paul mccartney and his present band. best concert i've ever seen. (sorry chris and bono)
March 16, 200719 yr Oh several. Arcade Fire definitely ranks high on my list. I totally agree^ :shocked2: :shocked2: :shocked2: :shocked2: :shocked2: :shocked2:
March 16, 200719 yr Define "Tight" I think of a band having their pants too tight and singing like little girls. :P
March 17, 200719 yr I haven't seen many superduper bands live but but, Mew was just whoa, amazing. I'll see Muse in July and i'm expecting to see a fantastic show.. I'm also pretty sure that i won't be disappointed
March 17, 200719 yr Even though I've yet to see them... MUSE! Haha, by the videos they even pwn... Haha, "tight"--sounds like socal lingo...
March 17, 200719 yr I think of a band having their pants too tight and singing like little girls. :P And I first thought it means crowdy, you know. Like, hom many people were there and all :uhoh:
March 17, 200719 yr Augustana. Their concerts are the best ones I go to, no question. Twice when they headlined and once on their support, and all three times I fall in love with them again. Snow Patrol is very solid too. It's the audience interaction they have. I'm sure if Tally Hall would come to Seattle, I'd rank them high.
