It's strange that they have decided on a date that they think Jesus was born, but they can't decide on a date he died/rose from the dead. I wouldn't mind as much if it was say the 2nd sunday in April, but it changes by as much as 4 weeks every year.

 

These days it's just an excuse for card companies and chocolate makers to make a killing selling over-priced eggs.

Thank god it's over now..the increase in workload is extreme!

If I remember correctly, it falls on the Sunday closest to the first full moon after the spring equinox. (Another example of the Church linking it's Holy days with pagan festivale to generate more business.)
