"How We See the World" Avail for Download on E-Music

Featured Replies

eMusic works with subscription plans. You get a free 14 day trial and then have to pay a monthly fee, either $9.99, $14.99 or $19.99 depending on the plan.

This will not be the only way of purchasing How We See the World. The album is not quite ready yet (there was a lot artwork to include!) but rest assured that we will update everyone when it is ready, and we will include all of the purchasing options so everyone can choose according to their preference.

WOW! You guys knew before I did. The service I used to get the album onto download sites said it could be as much as 6 or 8 weeks before it 'went live'!

eMusic has an offer of 25 free downloads atm, but I'm begging people to please not download HWSTW for free, as it is a charity project.:)

I think the people on here are a pretty supportive lot, so I know you'll do the honourable thing!!;)

Thanks for posting!

I would rather by the CD, because you can put it into a CD player and I dont have a MP3 player.

Does anyone know how much the CD will be?

^I'm glad to hear that. It will be $16.99USD. When the cafepress shop is ready we'll make a general announcement.

Great. Can you get it on Borders.com or something else?

Plus do you know where the posters or something I can hang up at school for it?

^That's a great idea! I'll put some posters together over the weekend.

The reason we're going with cafepress is that they manufacture the CDs individually. With Borders, you have to already have them made, and most manufacturers have a 500 CD minimum which we can't afford.

If we get a donation for manufacturing CDs, they'll be available everywhere.

Cafepress make a good product though.

Ok Thank You.

And thank you for putting up with all my questions:D

^No problem. I love talking about this album. You probably noticed I can't stop gushing about it in the WHat Are You Thinking Thread. I just can't believe it's finally out there.:D

Crap! I apologize... I swear I wasn't encouraging free downloading... As a fellow artist on the project, I was just excited to see it up on a fairly large music distribution site...

Don't feel bad. We figured it was like that. I'm sure people will use the free downloads for other songs if they know this is for charity. It'll also be on iTunes and Napster as well a 6 other major download sites over the next few weeks! But the best place to buy it is here: http://www.cafepress.com/ccc_shop .:)

Have you tried cbaby.com as well?

Also, if someone does sponsor the manufacturing, kunaki.com do cd's for $1.60 each, no matter what the quantity is. Just have to sort out posting of the cd'e then, which is alot more expensive.

THat's a great price. I haven't gone to CD Baby yet because they need manufactured discs, but if we can get a few done, I'll set up an account. They're great...and supportive. Thanks for the info, Mandyleigh!:)

Here's another one: http://www.we7.com/

People get our songs for free, but an advertisement is attached to the beginning of each song (for four weeks after people download) so the advertisers pay us :)

NOTE: it is still a VERY new service, so don't think anyone will download us for a while :\
