Can anyone make out what Chris wrote on his shoes? Maybe he was inspired by the local pub-folk and his own drunken stupor to come up with a title for the next album! :idea2: :lol:

 

 

Holy crap... and low and behold there it is. It's starting to get seriously freaky how much was right in front of us and we missed it. :stunned:

i know! we so wanted info, and some things were there for the taking, like the shoe message or the messages in will's video (i still purport that once we say "viva la vida" in the video twice, i was convinced that was the album title :P), but i love playing detective and fitting all these little things together :D

hahha, someone else besides me just HAS to go back and read the posts in the "NEW STARS ON COLDPLAY.COM" threads starting on page 36, because it's more hilarosity. i don't want to bump that thread (from the third page!) because people will get heart attacks and think that there is actually a new star, but really, the speculation about "yes, there are secret messages in will's video" and "no there are NOT secret messages in will's video" and "viva la vida MUST be the album title" and "NO, viva la vida will NOT be the album title" has me in stitches now. i'm particularly impressed with my own flip-flopping on the matter: originally i saw the hands spelling something, even though i didn't know what, but i initially thought they were just having fun and not leaving us secret messages :laugh1:. a few posts later, though, i was completely convinced that VLV was the album title!

 

sorry, but i just find all of this hilarious, and i don't want to bump that thread and give people heart attacks.

^Hahaha! It must have been funny reading over all the speculation from all those months ago, knowing what you know now. I can't remember saying much on the matter, but that could just be my poor memory. But you must be proud that you guessed the album title before any of us! :P

 

I'll go back and read it for myself now, to see if I had anything to say about it.

haha, well "proud" isn't the word...it was more just like a gut feeling. and it took some convincing for me, until both the hand-spelling AND the lip-reading fell into place. i find the whole thing hilarious :dance:

 

i didn't see you saying anything on it, sem. but really, pages 36 through 44 are a riot. to me, anyway. i love looking back on things and thinking back to what i thought then in comparison to now.
