September 14, 200718 yr I bought in this week some cd-s in a big book shop, but now im not sure they are original.
September 15, 200718 yr Author I think there is one way to know wheter the album is original or not..If there is a sticker on it which is shiny i think its name is hologram. If its on it its original. Is it true? My albums look like the original perfectly, just that stickers arent on it.
September 15, 200718 yr On the CD itself, if it's a proper printing, not a label. Some new cds have holograms on, but not all CDs. If it's from a big book shop, than they should be real CDs, even if they are unofficial greatest hits released by the record label without the band say-so.
September 15, 200718 yr Author Thanks so much...I hardly could imagine that they would be fake...that book shop the most famous in hungary.
September 17, 200718 yr You can always try to rip any track with EAC (Exact Audio Copy) and check if the rip is accurate when u compare it with the data base online to make sure your cd is 100% original.( though you have to install accurate rip software first and set the right offset value to your cd drive in order to make it work properly)
September 19, 200718 yr It's not that complicated but then again i'm a music maniac so you're probably right haha
September 25, 200718 yr First you have to configure EAC, I'll try to help you step by step menu Action Insert a CD and press F4 (Detect Gaps).Append Gaps To Previous Track (Default): Selected IMPORTANT. September 25, 200718 yr menu EAC > Drive Options... I'll guide you through that when u finish with this first and hey you might find somo difficulty trying to figure out your right offset but if its not in that list, let me know and i'll try to find the right value for you. Hope this can help ya.
