tuning to C#

Featured Replies

how do you tune your high e string to a C#?? is there another way to get this sound? my tuner has the letters B, E, A, D, G, B, and E on it for guitar but no "C". what is the deal with this?

in case you're right-handed:

take your left-hand's index finger, put it on the second fret of the second string (the B-string)... get out your plec or whatever and pick that string... yep, that's a C#! ;)

now tune your first string (high-E) down until it sounds like the C# on the second string

there you go!

After that, if you tune your d string to c# you can play the acoustic for spies. ;)
