Troubled soul diva Amy Winehouse has had her spirits lifted for her in the shape of a song written for her by Pete Doherty.

The Babyshambles frontman can obviously sympathize with Winehouse, given her numerous attempts to get straight and her reported drug overdose.

The song is reportedly called "Amy On The Mend" and was sent to her in a frame signed "Love, Pete,"

in time for her 24th birthday. According to London's Daily Star, the song contains the line: "Amy on the mend, all that passion to spend/

Like a paper Boadicea in a battle to the end, end, end."
