Well I have medium/long hair right now that comes about six inches below my shoulders and bangs that can be straight across when I style them but normally they just kind of sit on the side. My hair is in a really bad condition, I have terrible split ends starting around my shoulders and it's pretty dry and thin and fragile. Well I guess I might be exaggerating a bit but anyway.. .I was thinking of getting a cool short crop of some sort, but i don't want it to look plain or bland because I know that will make me look older and I already look older than my age.

 

So anyway... anyone have any opinions/ideas ..? I'm really stuck. :P

I was also thinking of donating my hair to Locks of Love but I don't think they'd want my crappy hair :P

Thin hair usually looks really cute short. I say go for it!. Its just hair and change can be a good thing, plus if you are gonna donate it to locks of love, its for a good cause. Im getting my hair cut today actually, its a few inches past the shoulder and im just gonna get a trim/cut so its above my shoulders.

 

Get the new haircut!.. New haircuts are the best(unless they cut one side like 3inches shorter than the other!)

well i can tell i had long hair and when i cut it

i would just add do the good choice even if it's hard to know what is the good choice

Myeah well it's always a shock to have short hair but i usually get used to it in a week or so.

And there have been times when i've been too embarrassed to even go home with the new shorter hair haha. But then it's been all better once i get used to it..and know how to make it look like "me".

 

But now i'm really into short hairs! well, not too short. But i can't imagine myself with long hair either

I'd also say you should keep it long....I once had short hair and when I look back: I hated them!:wacky:

what about cutting it only as much as it's bad - i don't think it's crappy from the roots ;) so cut off the bad hair and get rid of those split ends ... you'll then easier decide whether you want it short or not. :)

just don't cut it like britney spears did and everything will be ok!

Do you have a pic of the length now? Then we can judge whether you should chop your top, or just get a trim.

Yeah unhealthy hair is annoying. You just get to the point where you want it all gone.

You should try. It will grow back if you are not satisfied.
