this is OT, + i've posted on the Kasabian thread, but just cos i was laughing away (alone in my seat at Wembley Arena) when i saw it....Kasabian mentions Malaysia in their tour program!!! :D

 

& it goes something like this :

 

"In Malaysia we did this MTV show called World Stage which was mental. They'd done out the studio as a theme park and the stage was in an emptied out swimming pool. We were playing with loads of bizarre American bands. We started with 'Vlad'. I really don't know what they made of it. they probably overheard the MTV VJs announcing to the crowd who were still there after All-American Rejects finished to move more to the front & fill up the empty space, especially at the mosh pit area... :P

 

my friend & me were discussing about that announcement...we thought it'd be real awkward & 'memalukan' & disappointing for the headline act if they were just behind the stage & had to hear that. & to know that the "bizarre American band" before them is more popular with the Malaysian crowd. :dozey:

i think they are going back to Aussie next year...since they didn't really do any gigs in Aussie earlier this year aside from getting quarantined.
