CD Cases!!

Featured Replies

Have you ever bought a CD,and then found it extremely hard to get it out of it's plastic case?

It's happened to me several times, today i almost thought it was going to break,it was so hard to get out!!!

I hate that!! and I hate the stupid sticker they put on the side that's impossible to get off!!

True, the stickers that leave a mark are also annoying!!

 the little things that make life difficult ...

goodnight rick!

They're made of such cheap plastic, it's amazing they don't break more often.

Have you tried pushing down on the center of the case (inside the hole in the CD) as yo pull the CD out? Sometimes it works. It works better with DVDs but I've had some success with CDs.

Yeah sometimes that doesn't do anything...:P

I've broken sooo many cases trying to get the damn things open. do they really have to make it that hard to get them out?? though i think its worse with DVDs when they put those freaking stickers on all three sides!

but what annoys me more is when you even softly drop a CD case and part of it shatters or snaps off so it cant ever open again the right way without the whole cover coming off. i like those cardboard CD cases sooo much better.

I put my CDs (my album, I mean) together by hand, and trying to pull them apart to put the back inserts in, I've broken so many! I'm paying for them 50 at a time, and I shouldn't have to throw away 5 or 6 per batch. Grrrr.....

^what's worse is when you slice your hand open with the plastic while trying to do that! i've done that a couple times, trying to transfer the inserts from broken CD cases into new ones!

Yeah the cardboard ones can be good, but they get worn after a while..

Oh yeah The Eraser is cardboard :D

I hate when i can't get my cd's out of the cases..

it happens all the time

I love it when I almost break my cds trying to get them out of the cd case and then when I put them back they fall out :nice:

sometimes i break the case;

that's why i've decided to keep In Rainbows CD just as I got it ... in taht cardboard thingy. it's too lovely tegh way it is.

CD packaging pisses me off. Especially the little sticker that I can't peel off and I end up scratching the cover as I'm trying to pick of the bits of sticker left.

Also, sometimes I can't get the wrapper off because it has nothing to pull on. I hate that.

To get the clear outer wrapper off, find a hard surface with a squared edge (like a table or counter) and "rake" the bottom edge of the CD quickly against the edge of the table while pressing down. Makes the wrapper shred and come right off.

That annoying top "safety" strip thing is the single most agitating thing ever created.
