Sooo.. hello 2 all people!

 

I'm Stephan 19 years old from the Netherlands and can't stop listening to the best band in the world... Coldplay.. That's almost the only music i listen next to Radiohead, Muse and stuff.

 

I'm a musician and can play all Coldplay songs on my bassguitar. :)

I also play piano and guitar and can play many Coldplay songs on them.

I'm writing sheetmusic of a new Live 2003 bookversion.

That is my biggest hobby and want to play in a good band but can't find any what i want.. :veryangry2:

 

That is a what i do most of the time..

Writing music, composing songs, playing music, creating websites, listingen music, playing a pc game or something, wathing TV... and searching band(s)..

 

That is my life for a bit. :laugh3:

I'm trying multi-instrumental recording.. did some songs but stupid results..

 

I should take the drumline first and listen it while recording to get the timing perfect, than record bass than guitars/piano and than nothing.. never tryed to sing.. :laugh3:

I did all the tracks on my last CD (except for one electric guitar and one harmonica track) and I'm really proud of them, but I wish I had done alot of the drums over. That's where you can really hear mistakes.

 

It's soooo much fun building a song...trying out your harmonis and layering sound. Good luck with that too.

Probably you just need to find a group that "gells" well.. It's great to write your own stuff - that I truly admire.. But most groups that bolt to success often do so by taking on older tunes, or someone else's works, and perfecting it; making it newer; but I don't know what the future holds for the music world - my guess is that we're in a transition period, and have been for some time.. Maybe more original stuff will become the norm?!

Anyhow, keep on searching, and aiming to be the best!;)

I've got a band happening, but the rest of them are still at school (ive finished), so it makes it difficult.

If I lived in the Netherlands, I'd make a band with ya!

Wow own songs, cool... you can use good software for imitating drums.. like EZdrummer and more.. those arnt free.. but there are good free on the internet..:)
