Some of you may have been following along in the WoM section and know that this week we have been planning a Flame war with Atease to be carried out on a neutral board. That way mods of our respective message boards will not have a bunch of people to kick out and a big mess to clean up.

 

So here are some details and events.

 

When? Thursday 9pm GMT (use this to find out that time in your own time zone)

 

Where? http://chat.mapleleafs.com/

 

Rules:

 

1.Coldplayers should register a nick with some connection to coldplay so we know who is who.

2. No posting prior to 9pm (GMT) Thursday 21.02.08.

3. The winners will be the most Offensive/Funny (although there is no judge so it's a bit arbitrary)

4. No spamming Atease or Coldplaying in retaliation for any particularly good pwns.

5. A board crash or mass mod ban will be called a draw.

6. If pre registering it is advisable not to have a too offensive nick as this might tip off the mods

I'm going to be on the coldplay side even though I would much rather be on the other side....its all for fun. It will be fun pretending to be a big Coldplay fan again!

I know ateasers do stuff like this quite a bit, but I don't think we have ever raided another board.

I just don't know if I can bring back that passion I once had for them.

Raiding boards is hella fun. I used to be in this spam group and we'd spam Neopets boards because the people there are the most uptight. It's hilarious.

I've never spammed a board. But I'm looking forward to it.

Well, count me out. WHy shoud a bunch of total strangers get fucked with when they had nothing to do with this? If I weren't a Mod on another forum now, I might like it, but I wouldn't want to have to clean this up.:(

 

(It doesn't help that I'm a Leafs fan, but I'd feel the same if this were on a Habs forum too.)
