My first forum was at Chat-Avenue. :wacko:

The people there treated me like crap. I was 8 and a little on the illiterate side. They all migrated to another forum called Cheese Alliance, and I went there a year or so later. People still treated me badly, even though I could spell and actually write things that made sense. o_0

 

So this is a great improvement.

We're really picky at XFU. Not that you can't express a difference of opinion, but that you have to respect the people you disagree with. i.e. 'I hate that season' is ok, but 'you're a moron for liking that season' is NOT ok. You can't trash-talk/flame anyone on there whatsoever, and if you want to, there are plenty of Xfiles forums out there that encourage that, so take it elsewhere.

 

As a result, it's a really fun, upbeat forum with alot of silly, but intelligent discussion.

 

It's why I still love this place. Of course, we're all human and we're going to disagree, and sometimes we're even going to insult one-another...welcome to the planet. But here it's kept to a minimum.
