Ok, time for the latest in my parade of Coldplay equipment questions...:rolleyes:

 

What type of Strings does Jon Use? He seems to prefer lighter strings from what I can tell, but in all the online gear listings, I can't seem to find any info on the strings he uses.

There are only two brands or guitar string that are TOP quality.

 

Gibson and D'angelico

 

I'd imagine he goes for the latter, I preferr them too, they're a little more pricey but so worth it.I imagine he uses a guage 9 string aswell, but that's a complete guess.

I'm sure he uses/used to use ernie ball slinkys.

I kind of suspected he used EB Slinky's as well...
