It's hard to say. I've 'converted' a couple of casual Coldplay listeners to diehard fans by playing them VH. And if VLV has any extras, people will want to buy it for those.

 

I think there will always be music fans who love buying hardcopy and enjoying the whole package. There was a lot of downloading with X&Y too, but it still sold a gazillion copies.:)

I think it will sell a lot of copies. Coldplay appeals to so many people of different ages and cultures. As the band has said getting any bigger is not their goal. They may not promote this album as extensively as they promoted X&Y. No matter what, I see it selling at least 500,000 the first week.

This could easily be their biggest album yet. They're probably already planning which new Lamborghini they'll each get. :P

yes that's true ^ about the downloading but you know what i mean that this album will just reinforce coldplay as one of the biggest bands of their time :)
