O.A.R. or Of A Revolution is an incredible band. Has anyone else heard of them, does anyone else listen to them?

I am quite familiar with OAR. I love Marc Roberge's voice, but I feel that the songs all sound the same. There's a reggae beat that gets extremely repetitive.

 

I would suggest their live album "34th and 8th" to get acquainted with their style. This particular album is a stereotypical OAR show with all of the staples. Hey Girl and Crazy Game of Poker are the fan favorites.

I love OAR.

My advice is to start with the Wanderer (also classic OAR sound) and then listen to Live from MSG. Greatest live album ever in my opinion. Crazy Game of Poker is absolutely rediculous on that album.

OAR ROCKS!
