I thought it would be nice to have a thread where creative ideas could be posted - this could be anything, from new ways to tie shoes to new ideas on how the universe works.. :PPost Away!!

Long winters here had me thinking about ways to turn a wind surf board into a snow surf board, if such a thing does not already exist..:thinking: And I had given some though to an all-natural foam-board made from foamed re-polymerized lignin.. Also, I had considered a biochemical enzymatic method for converting wood waste into vegetable oil (hm.. if termites can do it, then why can't we??) - seems like this would be a better option than conversion to alcohol, due to lower energy of separation, and a more ideal auto fuel..

Sure, the food would be more expensive, but as an alternative to burger joints it would be awesome to have that choice. Also, if it were a drive-through fat people wouldn't have excuses anymore to stay fat.

You know, that's a really cool idea! The slow-food movement is nice, but for people on the go, it would be great to have some other options. I know how it is on the road, and the choices currently available are definitely not good.. It would be a bit up-scale for most travelers - but in a big enough market, there should be a sizable crowd interested in this.. I know I would be one!! Now if we could just design a hybrid auto where the occupants have to pedal to keep the vehicle moving..;)
