Will Chinese Sleep Chant be banned?

Featured Replies

I didn't want to spam the coldplay section with this so i put it here. it could be moved if you please.

as we all know spies was banned in china because the gov. thought the song was about them. Though chinese sleep chant isn't about the government at all will it still suffer the same fate?

sorry for this stupid thread, but i'm bored and don't watn to do work.

interesting question...

i think that it won't be banned just for a reason... the olympics will take place there, they need support for that as is a great investement, so surely they will use that song on their benefit, at least if they are an inteligent country they would do so imo.

I don't think so

Spies was specifically banned because they were writing about something that really happened, but it was a very Taboo subject. Directly accusing the Chinese government of breaking many laws.

I don't think it will be banned,

then again, the chinese governement restricted reproduction to 2 children per family

so who knows! :laugh3:

This is a difficult question. It is hard to make out what Chris sings, and maybe it sounds like something completely different to the Chinese. Maybe even something bad..

Keep us updated on how this case develops, It's very exiting.

Spies was banned? LOL. I can't say I am totally surprised... But you learn something new every day...
