Which is your favorite of these works?

 

Cask of Amontillado for me, with The Tell-Tale Heart as a close second.

Of the ones that I can remember reading, I quite liked "The Masque of the Red Death".

 

Totally random and without any evidence, but according to family folklore my great, great, great (I think it was 3 greats) grandmother was friends with Poe. Supposedly they lived on the same street in Boston for a while.

That's pretty amazing.

 

Have you ever visited where he lived when he wrote the Raven? I drove by one time... it was a very odd feeling.

But I loved his short story The Fall of the House of Usher.

 

He's one of my favorite writers.

Near Brown University... I believe on campus, not positive though. It was a few years ago that I vistited.
