Who's had a dream about Coldplay or with a member of Coldplay in it? Describe describe describe. :D

 

I had a brilliant one last night about the concert in San Jose (13 days!!!!)... it was after the show, and Chris called my name on the loudspeaker and told me to come backstage. He then told me to take a picture with him and patted my head, and told me to always remember this moment "or else". (which would normally be a bit creepy, but it's okay, it was Chris :rolleyes:).

 

*sigh* If only it actually happened....

Only a couple times that had to do with band members, and those where concerts. A couple weeks ago I read Fahrenheit 451 for the first time and I had a dream one night where Coldplay music was illegal. I had to hide from police-robots. :stunned:

You people are lucky; you have dreams that make sense. Relatively speaking.

 

I recently had one involving myself, one of my parents, a person I didn't know who was in a wheelchair for a reason I can't remember...and Chris Martin, who was apparently singing about, and to, the disabled person. All of this seemed to be happening in my house, at the kitchen table. The song was, as usual, one my brain threw together during the dream and forgot about almost immediately.

 

Plenty of other stuff happened but it was all so bizarre I forgot it pretty quickly.

 

...Yeah, I don't think you can even invent a dream weirder than that. :P

Alrighty.

 

So, I had it about 2 years ago... the dream:

 

Me, my friend Rose, and my friend Melissa were all sitting in this cabin in the snow after a long day of snowboarding lessons. Melissa and I were in pink puffy armchairs along the edges of the room (it was a circular room), and Rose was on the middle of the floor, knitting. All of a sudden she poked herself with the knitting needle, and started bleeding and crying... which caused Harry Potter to come flying into the room on his broomstick. He started hugging her and told her everything was going to be okay, and then he PROPOSED to her and they started making out. So my friend Melissa (being the perv that she is) went a got a video camera and filmed the whole thing. And then the dream skipped to the journalism classroom at the school that I went to for 7th grade, and the entire class was watching the video of Rose and Harry Potter kissing. The journalism teaher paused the movie and asked Rose to stand up and explain it to the class. But everytime Rose tried saying something, Melissa would interrupt by screaming really loudly. Eventually, the teacher told Melissa to go to the principals office, which caused me to stand up and say "If you send her you have to send me, too!". So the teacher told me to go as well, and eventually Rose said "if you send her, you have to send ME, too!" But the teacher said no, that she wanted Rose to stay and explain the video to the class, so Rose pulled out a gun, said "I do what I want!", shot the teacher, and we all went to jail.

 

The end.

Harry Potter, spontaneous marriage, school, and murder all in one? Not bad. :P

 

I wish I could remember the rest of mine, it was extremely weird...almost as weird as yours. Most of mine are so strange that I forget all the details and can only remember a sense of how completely insane it was.

 

 

They sometimes get a little too realistic despite being completely ridiculous; whoever said you can't feel pain in dreams is gonna get slapped. By me. In a dream.

 

Because I usually do have some sense of touch in dreams, even when I'd rather not. A while ago I had a typically random one, in which I was riding in a car that got stuck at some sort of toll booth. I got out and started walking around, then got chased down by a guard, who inexplicably sprayed me with a fire extinguisher. I immediately woke up, and the entire right side of my body felt extremely cold...much like it probably would if someone had just attacked me with a fire extinguisher. :stunned: It was kinda unsettling.

Very odd indeed. :thinking:

 

Oh, I've had plenty of other weird ones...

 

...for instance, about a month ago I had a dream that seemed like it lasted for at least an hour, and the entire time I was sitting on a tree stump in a forest, eating a cherry flavored Otter Pop. And that's all that happened. For an hour. :laugh3:

It's annoying that I can't remember any of the really elaborate ones, they're usually pretty epic...and absurd, once I wake up. :laugh3:

 

The only other Coldplay-related one I can think of was pretty uninteresting; for some reason they were having a concert at my school...in a building's nonexistant basement, and I don't think they ever actually played anything. :dozey:

 

But I'll never forget the one where skeletons took over my preschool and locked us all in a cage. :P
