Yoko Ono has donated P2.5M for the thousands of victims of ONDOY which hit the Philippines last September (posted on the hum. threads). Very nice indeed.

 

Many houses in the Philippines are still under water after typhoon Ketsana in October 2009. 300 families in the LAGUNA province are still living in evacuation centers and cannot return home for the time being (also posted on the hum. threads).

Well, that means a time difference of 8 hours.

 

What is the weather like in Mexico?

 

Here in Denmark we have a funny weather situation. I live near the capital Copenhagen and here we have 1½ to 2 cm of snow, whereas West- and Northern Jutland has got 60 cm of snow. Yesterday = Wednesday people couldn't get to work, and children couldn't get to school. I am not sure about the situation there today. But such weather is quite unusual for Denmark.

Well, Mexico is pretty big and weather variates acording to the region. I'm from the northwest of the country, pretty far from it's capital. Here it can get very hot during the summer and our winter is not much different... Probably the coldest we get is 8ºC-10ºC, and that's on a reaally cold night. But then again, that's only where I'm from, there are parts of the country with totally different weather :nice:
