Haha, yes! I work as a cashier and sometimes when things are slow I get paper off of the receipt printer and write letters to people so I don't die of boredom. :P

So you're going to get a letter soon on some really thin strips of receipt paper where I just ramble on and on about how bored I am!

Jajajajjajajajjajaja

Oh, that's gonna be priceless :P

Now i can't wait to get it!!!

Sorry, but i don't know if you already talked about this to the girls.... how was your weekend?? I know the weekend is not over yet, but did you have fun with your boy?? :nice:

Weekend was goooood. It was really nice to finally go see him, even though I was a big emotional mess when I had to leave this morning. I'm such a baby sometimes! :P But I had a lot of fun... on Saturday we went to some interesting shops around town (a weird flea market and another shop where they definitely sold all kinds of drugs, also a record shop with all kinds of vinyls and I thought of Guy :wacky:) and last night I went to a bar where his band was playing to watch him plan and he was sooooo good! Jeez I'm like a fangirl for my own boyfriend...

**swoon**

So that was my weekend.

I just wish I could go back! :bigcry:

Awwwwwwwww :nice:

It sounds like you had a great time!!! (Minus the druggie flea market :P)

I'm getting all mushy reading your post

And that pic is great!! Did you take it??

Haha sorry I know I've been mushy all day! :P

No, I didn't take that pic, actually a mutual friend of ours from high school did. She's really into photography, so she takes some high-quality pictures.

But that's how it looked last night. It was funny, the bar was actually a really nice place, a bit weird for a college town. It's Morroccan, and his band plays there all the time.

Oh don't worry about the mushy-ness, it's nice!! plus you've been planning that trip for soo long!!! :nice:

It sounds like a nice place, and how cool that you were with some mutual friends, that way you had someone to talk to while you watched & listened to your boy play :charming:

But wait a second.... is that Will's bell behind your bf??

How did you know? :P

I actually know a lot of people at his school, for whatever reason. Quite a few people I went to high school with go there.

I was out at that bar until 2 AM last night, which is way later than I am ever out! I wasn't drinking or anything, don't worry, I had to drive home. :P

Oh, that's nice :nice:

So you got to visit the bf and catch up with old high school friends?? :smug:

Mmmm... is it weird that i rarelly go out but 2 am doesn't seem that late to my standards?? :uhoh: :P

And that's good that you didn't drink, you had a long drive back (and i'm guessing a lot of singing too) today :D ...... plus lastnight i did your share of drinking :drunk:

Hahaha... I am almost always asleep by that time! Plus last night we moved our clocks forward an hour for Daylight Savings Time... so by the time I got to sleep it was like 4 in the morning! :uhoh:

Well I'm glad you were able to have a good time last night! :drunk: Yeah, there was no way I could have afforded to have a hangover today. I had a long drive and obviously my singing voice had to be in good shape so I could stay entertained in the car!

When Viva Vida came on, let me tell you, I went all out! The people in the cars nearby could probably hear me. :P

Uhh... daylight savings time..... it can't be too long before i'll have to do that too

And well, maybe you went to bed at 4 am, but to your sistem, it was 3 :P

Jajajajajja, viva singalongs in the car are the best :smug:

The woooaaa's sung incredibly load when you've got another car right next to you is just histerycal!!

Yeah but then when I woke up, it felt like it was an hour earlier than it should have been!

Anyone looking into my car today probably thought I was crazy, because I was constantly singing at the top of my lungs and drumming on the steering wheel. :P

But you're right, the Viva woooaaahs are absolutely the best part. The car is just the best place for singing. :wacky:

Oh, yeah that part of the time change sucks!!!

It makes me wanna crawl into bed more so than ussual!!

Jejeejejej, druming the steering wheel to Will's beat :drummer:

So... it's 8:30ish for you now? I finally figured out everyone's time difference from here and now it's all different! :dozey: I never really understood the point of daylight savings time anyway... I mean I get why it exists, but why can't people just deal with the way the earth is tilted? Wow, listen to me, ranting about DST... it's pretty obvious I don't want to read about communism right now!

Yep, 8:47 as i type... and now i'm confused about your time

Jajajjja, i don't think i can blame you for doing eveything possible to avoid that read about comunism :P

But you have to do your schoolwork missy :whip:

And i don't get it either.... i don't think i save that much electricity with it, it gets pretty hot here so everyone has their a/c on 8 out of 12 months of the year anyways..... plus soon i'll have to do it as well and it's gonna be annoying to get out of the house at 8pm with the sun still shining..... :dozey:

I think I gave up on that reading for now... I'll finish up in the morning! :P

And now I'm looking at websites for graduate programs in education... why I am subjecting myself to more torturous schoolwork, I will never know. Speaking of which are you still thinking about Cornell? That would be so cool if you went there, I know they have an awesome architecture program and it's only like 1 1/2 hours from here! :P

And thanks to DST I am still off and will probably be up way too late tonight. It's already midnight and I don't feel too tired. Greaaaat. :dozey:

Comunism in the morning?

What a cheerful way to start your day!!

Oh, i can understand the subjecting to torturous school wrok part!!

We're masoquists, that's why!!

5 incredibly stressful and sleep deprived years in architecture school and here i am looking for a way to go back to that :P

And i'm not sure about Cornell, not even from arizona... i mean, i'm sending my application to them but the economical situation is not good for my scholarship.... i was told to have opcions on the side, 'cause they may tell me it's best to apply at uni's in my own country to get the schollarship

Yeah, I definitely know what you mean about the economic situation. I'm going to have to take out some major loans when it comes time for me to go to grad school. I'm trying not to think about that though...

I'm still going to root for Cornell though for purely selfish reasons... it would be so cool if you went to school in NY. And believe me, you would see a TON of snow there! :P But you never know... a lot of times these schools are trying to get more diversity among the students so when they see someone from a place like Mexico they might offer them more money in hopes of attracting them to the school! I have a friend whose mother immigrated from Cuba, and she got almost full scholarships to every university she applied to!

So, you never know! ;)

It's best if you don't think about it now.... just look at nice grad school programs and worry about the money later

And that's ussually true about uni's wanting "diversity", but my scholarship would not be with the university i'd be applying. The university i graduated from has a scholarship program with a goverment organization, and if you're accepted to a university (any university) to do grad school studies you can apply for this mexican organization scholarship and they pay for the tuition, medical insurence and they give you extra money so you can pay rent, buy food... you know, survive :P If one gets that scholarship you cannot get a job, is completely forbidden. They pay for all your expenses so you just gotta focus on your studies. And once you're done you don't pay a cent, instead you have to come back to your home university and they'll give you a job in the local grad school if they have an oppening. If they don't, then you're free. :D

Ooh... well, if you can get it, that sounds like a pretty good deal! I will of course be crossing my fingers for you! :P

Anyway... somehow it got reeeallly late and I have work in the morning and then class all afternoon so I am going to attempt to go to sleep. Have a good night and I will talk to you tomorrow!

Thanks for keeping yours fingers crossed, hopefully it'll work out :nice:

You should get some sleep, you're having a busy day tomorrow. Good luck with your paper

And have a good night, sweet dreams!!

Morning girls!!

Pris you look lovely on the pics and the dress looks gorgeous on you!!

And the decoration looks beautiful, what were you worrying about?! ;)

Sarah, sleep well! Talk to you tonight!

Hester!!

Thanks girl

I'm so sorry to leave you, but i'm exhausted and i've got work tomorrow, so i'm gonna head to bed. But hopefully i'll talk to you later so you can fill me in on your weekend with the inlaws :nice:

Take care and have a nice day!!

Sleep well sweetie! Talk to you tonight

So did the take over happened???

Im here tonight and I plan on staying very long!!! :D

:uhoh:

Q. What do the guys do to stay in shape while they are on the road? I know they have a trainer that travels with them, but what kinds of things do they like to do to workout??

The Oracle replies:

Dan, their trainer, tells me that when they are on the road the hotels normally have decent fitness facilities and so he is able to take them through weights sessions. They vary it from session to session for instance one day circuit training, the next 30 mins weights followed by 30 mins cardio. Jonny enjoys a lot of kickboxing and they have played squash a couple of times. Dan and Guy are running the marathon again so have also been doing some very long runs in various cities. Dan has a case of kettle bells, dumbbells and a bench that travels round with him so they can even train at the gig.
