Hey guys! So something quite horrible happened.. basically school started back up this year. and as usual, my dinky little private school fucked up my whole entire schedule..! So basically, in order to get one of the AP courses they offer (and i've been doing AP since i was in elementary school).. i had to switch around my whole entire schedule..

 

This left me with all 3 sciences, and i had to leave economics.. one of the only two business courses we had in my grade.. so i was like okay fine, i'll deal with it, as long as i got that AP course..

 

But, i've been siting in Biology for the past four days of school.. and i CANNOT stand it.. like it is BORING, and HARD and of absolutely no interest to me.. so i decided that i was going to try to get out of BIO as well.. now instead of bugging the admin, to switch up my whole schedule and give me that AP, and then figure out how to get rid of bio, i decided i would just ask them to switch BIO with ENGLISH (which i had next semester).. and i thought that when next semester came along, i'd deal with BIO then..

I handed in my form for schedule changes, with all these requests on the VERY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. One of my best friends.. also asked for the BIO-ENGLISH switch, and she handed in her form a WHOLE day after me... at the end of the day.

 

The next morning.. we both get new schedules.. i got my AP switch.. but not the BIO-ENGLISH switch.. so i was still stuck with all three sciences, including BIOLOGY this semester.. but my FRIEND, got the BIO-ENGLISH switch.. and i had asked for it, before she did! So that spot, was MY RIGHT...

 

Anyways, i had to fill out a whole new form to try and get the BIO-ENGLISH switch.. and what not, fine w/e i'll deal with it.. this time i told them that i dont want BIO at all. find me a substitute course.. the next day, i got my schedule and they just switched BIO and ENGLISH without dropping BIO from my year schedule at ALL.. :angry: *Meaning.. i still had biology, but next semester*

 

So i went around investigating what courses i could take during that biology slot next semester.. and the only other course i found was Accounting 12.. for which i'd need Accounting 11.. In order to get accounting 11, i would had to have leave a computer course that my best friend (the same girl from before) was in with me..

 

I was like fine, its all good.. i rather leave computers than be stuck with biology next semester.. its my only option..

 

TURNS OUT..

 

My friend, stayed in computers because of me.. without telling me, because if she had left i'd have been the only girl the course..

 

SO NOW, shes stuck in that course ALL ALONE because I left.. and omg.. i feel SO BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.. she was crying, and she was really upset and what not.

 

and i know i made the right decision, but i just feel really guilty and horrible, and i dont know how to make it up to her.. and PLUS.. that day was the LAST day for course changes.. so now shes stuck there..

The only thing I can think of is,well, "things happen for a reason" - which is mostly totally an unbarable thing to hear when disaster comes over you - but I really hope that looking back in a few weeks or months you will both realise that something good came of it, that would not have happened otherwise.

 

Like your frienship in fact strengthened, or she met this wonderful boy in comp class, or you got astounding marks in accountancy, well, I really dont know, but I do wish you (and her) the best possible outcome. :flutterby:

arrrrrrrr, I go to a Private school too and they arn't as good as you would expect!

Yes it seems like they aren't great with schedules. I'm in middle school and just by taking ONE high school course I miss sports one day, homeroom another day, break another day and lunch another day!

 

It's a great school otherwise though, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Hope everything will be alright for you and your friends. it kinda sucks but like you said you made the right decision for yourself, you didnt mean to hurt her or anything, and she might very well meet some new friends :)

I know theres nothing i can really do.. i just feel bad for her.. and i guess it looks really bad on my part too..

 

and yeah private schools.. i mean my school is a verry verrry small private school.. our population is like 300 ppl.. but, i dont know, i guess i've gotten used to it.. its not as bad as i used to make it out to be.. except the admin.. esp when it comes to schedules :rolleyes:

 

edit: me and this girl have a different relationship i guess.. like i know this sounds really bad of me, but nobody's perfect.. but her flaws really piss me off :embarassed:

like, shes REALLY negative.. and always doubting herself, and sometimes it seems like she does it on purpose to kind of get that compliment out of other people? You know what i mean.. shes kind of eccentric and shit.. when shes happy shes happy.. when shes sad, everybody has to be sad!

 

Shes a great friend though.. its just at the end of the year lst yr.. she really got on my nerves.. and now this.. i was hoping we'd be cool this year.. i dont know.. :(
