i've been playing around with the drive knob on my amp. what exactly is it supposed to do? and theres another that says MID, its the knob between the bass and treble knob....what does the MID do? i have a couple different channels on my amp if that makes a difference..

"drive" is the same thing as "gain" and is used to change the level of distortion. "Mid" controls the volume of sounds that fall in between bass and treble...
