I'm looking to get a new practice amp. Nothing too fancy. Something like a 15watt.

 

Currently using one of these:

but i want something more versatile (more knobs = more fun :lol:).

 

Went down to my local musical instruments emporium to see what they have in and found 2 in my price range:

 

Line 6 spider III or Fender frontman II

 

Any opinions or options welcome :)

Go for a tube-amp if you want good tone.

I have a Blackheart Little Giant 5w, and it's perfect for practice.

BIG NO to Line Six amps. Horrible. Same applies to Marshall MG's.

 

Avoid Solid state amps.

 

Go for a cheap tube amp.
