Yeah but they have to do that. If I enquired about studying at Oxford they'd reply to me even if it was obvious that they wouldn't offer me a place.

 

They probably don't even know your marks. You might have asked for a prospectus or something.

Yes, but... There's lots of help for students in some universities or so I've heard. In some cases you don't have to pay anything.

I know, it's just very hard to get the funding (depending on the subject you are doing). The main problem is that you won't get a loan as a postgraduate student in the UK.

Did you take PSATs? If you put your email address on the test sheet then they'll sent you some college stuff. I made that mistake last year. :sad: My inbox was filled with college stuff!

I think in Germany or Sweden it's different... there's big foundings for students that are opting for advanced studies, even for foreigners. Those countries are like my main options right now. :)

Oh yeah, I'd get like 50 a day....:sick: It was annoying. Luckily I knew better this year and didn't put my email address down. :smug: I still get a few here and there, but eventually it dies down. I think they get the message when you stop answering them. :lol:

XD not exactly your case, where I bet England is the best place to study english literature, obviously, right?

Of course I am being extremely optimistic for that time.

Not sure. I guess some American universities are just as good but I'm happy where I am. I wouldn't even really want to go to a different part of the UK.
