whats the worst injury you've ever had or heard of?

my worst injury was spraining my ankle :)

the worst I've heard of is my cousin getting thrown off a horse and breaking her leg in 4 different parts and staying in the hospital for 6 months...

hmmm...tail bone bruised...im a clean child :smug: :wink3:

that's terrible. :(

ummm... can't say what my worst injury was b/c then I'd be jinxing myself.

but one of the worst I've heard, is this girl I went to High School with, got her arm pulled out of the socket when this guy was swinging her around (just for fun). When she went to the hospital to have it popped back into place, it took them 4 trys to. OUCH!!

MUAH!!

*gathers imaginary people to start rubbing it in!*

I broke my leg when I was two. I still remember having the cast removed. That drill thingy they used was scary. I haven't broken anything since cos I'm a big fraidy-cat.

Beloki's crash this year on the Tour de France was the most horrible thing I've ever seen. Poor guy broke his femur (the largest bone in the body, think of how much it must take to break it!) and like, his arm and something else too, I think. He was a real contender in the Tour too. Damn, I feel so bad for him! Actually, there were a lot of crashes and injuries this year, but that one was painful on so many levels.

I hate painful injuries....but I guess they're all painful...

Not necessarily... I stapled my thumb once and I was so surprised I didn't even notice any pain. I was like, "Would you look at that?" But, then, that wasn't a very big injury.

you could probably say there was....and then people would try it out and find out it didn't work....that'd be interesting to see

For me it would be the dislocated rib that I got in the mosh pit at a concert. It took about a year and a half to pop back into place. :)

i hit my head on cement while jumping in a pool when i was little and was unconscious. my mom found me floating face down in the water :stunned:

I broke my arm on the last ever day of

Primary school *so I was like 11* I was jumping around

on some mats that were stacked up and I fell.

I actually heard it break! and because I am a bit of a joker

at times, all of my friends didn't believe me when I cried out in

pain and they all said "She's just joking come on get up!" - :sneaky: grrr! lol

They realised I wasn't after a while so they got help. The teacher

assumed it was just a sprain but sent me home early anyways, and I went to hospital and found out I broke it in two places and fractured my wrist. So my

full 6 weeks summer holiday was runied as thats how long I had to have a

cast on for!

Great end to my Primary School life huh! :)
