JESS!!! That's terrible!! Mine isn't really an injury but a scary moment! I almost drowned during my swimming lessons. My teacher decided we were ready to go to the deep end, but seeing as i am a shrimp, i didn't feel ready..anyhoo, i kinda slipped underneath and couldn't get back up..i swear i was definitely drowning so in a sudden attempt to save myself, i pulled down the shorts of my swimming teacher so that he could lift me up as well. :D

 

Scary (and funny) but oh so true.

Hmmm..

worst injury... I've had so many, but many of them were pretty minor. This is kinda interesting 'cause I was having this discussing with my coworkers one day. This one girl I know has so many stories to tell.

I would have to say it would be the time I was on vacation in Iowa - I was little and fooling around , jumping on the bed and stuff ... I fell off and when I got up I bashed my head against the corner of the door where the tv was. It was really stupid, but I bled a lot and we had to go home 'cause I had to get stiches. Everybody at school was like "Dude, what happened to your head?" 'cause I had to shave my hair off.

Another thing that sounds bad, but I didn't break anything was when I was into gymnastics - I did roundoffs on beam and once instead of landing on my feet, I landed on my crotch. ouch!

Gymnastic injuries are the worst. Especially when you're really good at it and are doing the hard psycho stuff.

lol, aw poor laura, i havent had any major injuries, just some little ones, almost blinded myself twice (once with a racket ball the other with a piece of metal about the size of a grape), cut my thumb to the bone with a knife (still have a little scar), fell off a tree and scraped off the skin on my chin (still have a little scar), i was playing at school one time with my p.e. class and me and this other kid ran into each other an my upper tooth went almost completely through my lower lip, had to get stiches and 3 shots of penicillan in my lip.

 

i know this isnt the worst injury ive heard of but the first thing that comes to mind is alex zanardi, he won 2 (might have been 3) cart championships in a row and got into formula one, then a couple races into the season he got in a bad wreck and lost both his legs, i thought it was so sad he made it to the top and now he can never drive again.

 

the other one i remember was on ripleys believe it or not when this guy had like a 9" bowie knife in his head all the way to the handle and lived

ive broken 2 bones playing in goal over my life...my left wrist when i was 12 and my collarbone when i was 22..collarbone was worst couldnt life my arm or anything just hung there.....:(

i broke my nose with kickboxing once and this lil bone was kinda in a risky place :stunned: if she had hit me any harder it could have jumped up to me brains..you can kill someone by hitting his nose real bad .....and yeah ive broken a leg and an arm once and some lil bruises with skate boarding but that was my own stupid fault

i've never broken anything :o so i've never been seriously injured!! :) i've sprained my ankle and wrist but that all ;)
