First album?

Hi, hello everyone!!

I'm a new french fan of coldplay, i discovered them with Viva La vida. I saw them twice in Paris this year!! Incroyables shows!!!

So now i try to buy their cds. i don't understand, what is it? In a french forum, some people say that this is just a single, and some that this was a cd before parachutes. Could someone explain me? thank's a lot.

Its an EP ...not an album!......ur right the 1st album is Parachutes...an EP is just something that has a some of songs....but its not an album!

They released it before Parachutes, but it's not a full-length album, it's shorter, otherwise known as an EP :smiley:

blue room is an EP which means "Extended Play" it only has a few songs like the "Prospekts Marh EP"

 

parachutes is there first album you are right you should try getting some of there better bsides like "one i love " 1.36" Ladder to the sun" those are song that never made an album

 

go on amazon . com to find the songs on singles like the scientist SINGLE or CLOCKS it that cofusing sorry

The Blue Room is an EP - Extended Play - which is a form of album but contains less songs.

 

Parachutes is their first full-length release.

They've pretty much said it. I recommend getting Parachutes and the rest of the albums first...but nonetheless the blue room E.P. is a gem and IMO their best release before parachutes. On it is...

Bigger Stronger: An amazing tune all fans should be familiar with.

Don't Panic: A different version mind you, a little darker with Jonny's FX cranked up to 11.

See you soon: A ballad that will most likely make the greatest hits.

High Speed: Great song, the same version is in parachutes actually.
