If you were an intelectual of exceptional talent and does a grade higher mathematics than everyone else as well as getting A's in everything else, what career path would you choose:

1. A path to do with your mental ability.

2. Another path that you also have skill in (say the artistic or literacy fields)

You are evil zelda

I'm winning

probably a path that had some of both

Its a question that has been pestering my mind since i started going to high school. Some of my friends just think it is just a waste of talent if i do something that does require me to use my brains.

Oh dude come on.

It would be a waste if you we're mentally advanced and chose to be an athlete.

Use your talents.

Worry about it when you reach last year of high school.

You should just do whatever you want.

All my teachers say I should get a math job but I wanna work at the zoo or a musci store or something

Maybe choose 1) but do 2) as a hobby?

Im not going into athletics, im shit at that. But I am really good at art and photography and writing poety/stories and singing and lots of other stuff like that. I have a tendency to worry.

Look.

In the end, it doesn't matter what you're good at.

If you like it, you'll succeed.

The athlete thing was just an example, to prove a point.

But here's another.

I was seriously thinking about going to graphic design school.

What happened? I realized it was just a hobby, but not something I wanted to work at.

So I got into med school, cause I want that, I like it.

"It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."
