Cool Idea For VLV Tour DVD (If It Happens)

Featured Replies

Don't you think it would be so cool if they made a tour DVD, but each song was from a different concert?! For example, Cemeteries of London would be in D.C., because it was halloween, they could have Glass of Water at Antwerp, Life in Technicolor ii at Birmingham, or Lost! at Chicago, etc!

That would be cool ^^

But if they release a DVD (and considering they didn't do it for the Twisted logic tour...), it would make sense they do it for the Wembley gig...It will be their biggest event to date and it would be silly to miss this occasion...I have a good feeling about this XD

That would be cool ^^

You're probably right about this :)

Plus it would be an excellent way to earn some money for the X-mas sales in 2009.

They had the EP and the VLVADAAHF special package this year, so next year is room for a DVD - Live @ Wembley :)

Just the thought of it really gives me goosebumps all over ;)

yeah they should :)

and they should also put some butterfly confetti in the dvd as an addition :D :D :D

(signed if possible lol)

That would be cool ^^

it could be...but dont fforget it is a radio 1 thing so radio 1 may release it along with coldplay

I think it should be recored on the 2nd night of Wembley cuase the 1st one their barely gonna get the feeling of it...

It will probably be Wembely, everyone always makes DVDs from Wembley performances

Whilst a good idea, that's actually quite difficult to do. Some cocnert dvds are actually a combination of two shows.

Peral Jam did something like that in 2000. A couple rodies filmed a lot of shows. They then compiled it into a 30 track DVD called Touring Band. One of the best music DVDs I own.

And they'll do what the Foo Fighters did and film at Wembley. Only if they preformed Slane Castle could it get bigger...*sigh* Coldplay at Slane Castle. I'd fly to Ireland to see that.

I'm of two minds about this, sometimes a show gets recorded that is just special for one reason or another and I think it'd be a shame to miss that. However, recording it as a travel documentary with a song from a show in between would be fairly cool. Y'know insight in the daily lives of the band and crew on tour....that'd be pretty awsome. I know they did a documentary on the Live 2003 DVD but it was pretty short and didn't really cover much.

Great idea!

I'd be so happy if they released a VLV DVD...

Would be better if its more on tour and some sneaks in the dressing rooms and the afterparties. :D

plus the performances of course

Honestly speaking, I would be pleased with anything they will bring out - don't want to have too many expectations 'cause it only counts that they are going to release something ;)
