January 7, 200917 yr second episode was SO much better than the first, too! i'm glad to see the return of glorious scrubs, because i thought the quality of the later seasons was on a major downhill run. i just hope this season keeps it up what they set by these first two episodes. however, it's weird that the writing got better after they switched to ABC. i generally think that ABC shows have crap writing, whereas NBC shows (scrubs's old network) have fabuolous writing. go figure. also, i don't think zach braff can handle coldplay-esque stubble. he has too much of a babyface to pull it off IMO.
January 7, 200917 yr damn, jamie, i just found it (in 3 parts) on youtube! why didn't i even think of looking there? i mean, it'll be taken down soon, but it totally would have worked tonight. and according to wiki, episode 5 will involve sesame street muppets! :lol: oh, that's going to be priceless.
January 7, 200917 yr Author just finished the second episode! OH MY GOD. it made me well up, and smile, and it was jus so beautiful! the song at the end was perfect for the mood! 'Scrubs' have their own writers, so the writing wouldn't suffer. but I knew this season would be better than the last because bill lawrence said that they were going back to basics, back to the way they used to make it when it first started, more drama, less slapstick. this is already one of my favourite episodes. RIP George :P
January 7, 200917 yr true that the writing wouldn't suffer since they're the same writers, but going from NBC to ABC is kind of a downshift in quality, so i figured the network-shift would just keep it static, not get it better. blah, that doesn't make that much sense now that i write it out. ah well :P and bill lawrence is from my hometown and went to my town's high school :wacky:

I don't have any cool stories like that, uhm... the band 'the futureheads' all live in my street back home?? but yeah. i don't know much about american networks, so I don't know the difference between ABC and NBC, except that SCRUBS is there. and it's kind of important that this season is good, with it being the final season! so.... is it on weekly now? every tuesday in the states? will there be two episodes every week? or just because it's the first week of the new season? I can't wait for next week zach braff has given me the best birthday present ever! :D
January 7, 200917 yr every tuesday night, yep :D. though i doubt there will be two episodes every week...i bet that was just because this was the first night. i'm just lucky that house changed nights, so there's not that conflict. however, house is now on mondays, which brings on a new conflict :angry: basically all you need to know is that NBC is the best network ever, period :D. glad that you got scrubs for your birthday!
