My cover of Viva La Vida (Video with loop pedal)

I played a gig on Monday (2nd March) in Liverpool at a place called the Bar 3345 which is part of Parr Street recording studios (where Coldplay recorded bits of 'Parachutes', 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' and one or two tracks for 'X&Y'). Anyway, the gig went really well and I spent the whole of last week rehearsing for it and I decided to film one of the songs I was practising.

I posted an 8 track recording of me covering 'Viva La Vida' last year on the board but now you can actually see me playing it. In the video I'm using a loop pedal to layer all the parts up. Hope you enjoy it, please let me know what you think.

I liked it very much. Ive not learned the chords to Viva yet. Your version sounds great. Ive never priced and loop pedal before. I just started playing guitar and have an amp but no pedals... I love what you can do with them.

yeah you're right, loop pedals are great fun to use and you can do some really cool stuff with them. Mine cost me £150 when I bought it 5 years ago. Worth every penny, hours of fun :D

I like this rather much. :) Great job.

I can play VLV somewhat on piano, and for my Aural Skills class, I plan to solfege it. ^_^

P.S. Loop pedals have got to be some of the coolest things on the planet.

^ Maybe I will do something like that one of these days. IDK, though, especially if I'm expected to sing; I'm not comfortable singing in front of people.

Thanks for the sig compliment. I think it's some sort of blanket. I'm not sure. :laugh3:
