Viva la Prospekt
I'm going to perform a cover of the song Clocks with some friends at school. Now they are playing the drums and piano, and im going to play the bass with my keyboard. But when you hear the song you wil hear some sort of organ sound at the background, i know it's just the same notes as the piano part, but what is the instrument, does anybody know that? Thanks! Mig-El
it's a synth isn't it or maybe strings, but I think the first.
chuck kottke
Yes, it's the keyboard synthesizer - you're right, Ricardo!! Modern equipment is designed to simply "create" effects at the touch of a button, and thus the sound - I think the setting was "bell tone", and the bass was a repeat of a basic accompaniment, with computer variations added. To deconstruct it is admirable, as it is a bit complex; but I'm sure with a good ear, you'll get it.;)
Tnspieler1012
Yeah, its not hard to get close enough to it. Any strings synth should be fine given you have a decent enough keyboard.
