July 20, 200916 yr And another one bites the dust... Did you here about Wright's rolled ankle? If you didn't watch yesterdays game, he rolled it when, I think it was Matt Diaz, slid into third. Of course he kept playing and ended up stealing a base the next inning but that was a close one. I'd like to call now that Wright will be the last man standing of the original line up at the end of the season even if he has two broken legs and two broken arms if only because he'll refuse to believe that he's actually hurt and keep playing. He would probably play in a wheelchair with a glove and bat taped to it :P I read the NY Post today and they had an article about Jerry Manuel saying that Livan Hernandez would be a good bench player if all the others got hurt. And he was being serious :uhoh:
