Goldeyes :shame:

-googles-

Hmmm, the Winnipeg Goldeyes of the Northern League of Canada.

Well, unless I'm mistaken, your team is part of a Canadian league of baseball which is separate from the MLB. I'm not saying they're not professional; they have to be at least somewhat in order for them to have their own ballpark, and they even have their own website.

Do you watch the Toronto Blue Jays, by chance?

once in a while, are they major league?

I was just gonna write that :laugh1:

Yes, they are :)

Yep, they sure are. :) Frankly, though, they're not doing too good right now. :\

^ HA! How 'bout that? :D

that sucks :\

I think my favourite Major League team is the Phillies. :uhoh:

^ Well, in that case, you're not alone. The vast majority of people who post in here are fans of either of the teams of the Phillies-Mets rivalry. Now the Phillies, they ARE doing good. They're first in their division. :)

I ike Chase Utley, he's really good :D

I don't think there are too many people here that don't like him. I myself am a self-proclaimed Utley follower. -raises hand-

I was tempted to start a Chase Utley picspam just then, but that's a job for one of the Phillies girls, not me. :P

I'm on the Mets side. They're in 4th. Thier fans cry a lot, including me, especially when they lose or get swept by horrible teams and ARE 8 GAMES OUT OF THEIR DIVISION!!! but that's okay.

^ I feel you, CP Jr. I understand that feeling. I've been susceptible to that myself with my own team. Although my team is actually doing much better now. They're actually over .500, and that makes me SOOO happy.

I'm an Astros fan.

They're doing alright this year. Last I checked they were 3 1/2 out, right?

Something like that, yeah. They were doing really bad in the beginning, though. It was awful. And even now, Roy Oswalt has yet to get back to how we once knew him. :(

Although I must say, I'm very pleased with Wandy Rodriguez. This is his best season yet. :)

There goes another Met onto the DL... Nieve TRIPPED when running. I guess we ran out of ideas on how to hurt ourselves. Joy.

^ Heyyy, Fernando Nieve. He used to be an Astro. I remember him. :o

Although in all fairness, he wasn't that good when we had him.

I guess he's just very loved

:whip:

nah, I dont mind :nice:

And another one bites the dust...

Did you here about Wright's rolled ankle?

If you didn't watch yesterdays game, he rolled it when, I think it was Matt Diaz, slid into third. Of course he kept playing and ended up stealing a base the next inning but that was a close one.

I'd like to call now that Wright will be the last man standing of the original line up at the end of the season even if he has two broken legs and two broken arms if only because he'll refuse to believe that he's actually hurt and keep playing.
