July 29, 200916 yr 4 Games. Give it time. :sneaky:. But we won! Again!! It's been a HOT July for the Phils. They're 19 and 5 in July.! Red Sox. Oh, I'm not going to even talk about that. Just gonna say... DAMN YOU, PAPELBON..
July 29, 200916 yr :shocked3: YES! :smug:. By the way, don't expect to do anything in August, Mets. PHILS JUST GOT CLIFF FREAKIN' LEE. Look him up. The man's a machine. :smug:.
July 29, 200916 yr Huge baseball fan here. Cubs all the way! Tied St. Louis for first place with a 12-0 win over the Astros! They've been pretty magical since the break. I'm hoping they'll be able to keep it up for the rest of the season, which is not completely out of the question. Soriano's hitting extremely well lately in the 6 hole, and Ramirez is back and a force to be reckoned with. Once Lilly and Soto come off the DL, they'll be set for the rest of the season. PS - I'm also a Red Sox fan; they're my AL team.

July 29, 200916 yr Thanks for the welcome. Not necessarily looking forward to the possibility of Cliff Lee facing the Cubs again, but at least it will only be once in the regular season...I feel sorry for the Mets, Braves, and Marlins fans (I already feel sorry for Nationals fans because the team is no good).
July 29, 200916 yr Oh God... I forgot. CLIFF LEE IS GONNA BE IN THE NL EAST! That means we're gonna have to face him more than we used to. :bigcry:

July 30, 200916 yr Don't worry, Happ ruined everything for us last night. We lost, 4-0.. Red Sox lost, too. But I heard on Sportscenter that they may trade Bucholz for Halladay. That'd be a stupid trade on the Jays part. :P

But have many, MANY ties to the great city of Boston. :D
July 30, 200916 yr Phillies  :heart::heart::heart::heart:!!! They're the best. Red Sox are winning!! Let's hold the lead, Lester!
July 30, 200916 yr YAY! 'Nother Red Sox fan!!!:D:dance::D:dance:!!! I'm a Phillies fan first. Cause I'm actually from Philly. But have many, MANY ties to the great city of Boston. :D I fell in love with Fenway when I went there in 2005...great place to see a game, even though our seats were horrible (if we sat straight in our seats, we'd be looking directly into the bullpen. We had to crane our necks to see home plate). So basically the love for Fenway turned into a magnified interest in the Red Sox, and I've been a fan ever since. It also helps that I've never, ever liked the Yankees at all. And my name is Stephanie...nice to meet everyone.
July 30, 200916 yr Hah, I know whatcha mean, Stephanie. You can either have amazing seats, or, those. :laugh4: Last time I went there, in '06 I was literally RIGHT behind home plate. My family....crazed Red Sox fans. :P But I might go see the Sox play the Orioles in Baltimore this September! I'm excited! Haven't seen the boys in there years! :P
