My teacher nominated me for city honour band, and the conductor just approved :D

I like all this stuff better.

I love the score from Titanic. For about six months straight last year, I fell asleep to Hymn to the Sea every night.

I need to learn how to play the ukulele and the steel drums by Tuesday.

 

It's not impossible.

I can only play the triangle and maracas.

I can play the piano, baritone, valve trombone (:laugh3:), a little slide trombone but not well, conga drums, anything in the percussion section (except the drum set! and the timphany drums). Recorder! And a teeny bit of guitar and ukulele. Which will soon have to be perfected :lol:

I only didn't take band because I thought it would be too expensive </3

It is pretty expensive...like for high school band I pay a $50 fee just to be in band (it goes towards programs and more instruments/supplies). And since I have a bigger instrument I rent it from the school, which is $200. I believe.

And my sister bought a flute (cause you can't rent the small instruments). Her old one was only $600 but the new one was $1500 (and that was a wicked deal!)

 

And my piano lessons are over $1000 a year. But it's important to me and my parents support musical stuff so they pay :D

I took art instead :smug:
