But I stumbled upon the UK version the other day here and watched the first series and quite enjoyed it, I must say. They are pretty the same and I still can't say which I prefer more. However, although Ricky Gervais's performance in the UK one is just impeccable, I'm just glad it's Steve Carell who is playing that role in the US one.
