Usually at night it's slow so only two of us close. Well a few minutes after everyone else left but me and the other guy closing it became extremely busy with people in a hurry. One lady was very hyper and in a hurry and took hundreds of dollars of merchandise out to the car for her mother who couldn't walk to try on while my manager was getting impatient with her doing that. Then I had to help multiple people at once and the power went out, then came back on and nothing was scanning right while everyone was in a big hurry. I ended up in 4 hours of working today having 1/4 of all the sales. In the last 2 hours we doubled what the store sold all day.

And the lady who had brought the stuff out to the car ended up spending a lot but her husband drove off with her phone and keys in the car. She thought they were going somewhere close by and walked there but asked me to keep calling her husbands phone until he picked up, so I could tell him to wait there for her. That was an awkward conversation.
