Now that you have your own laptop, can't you sign up for Last.fm? :cheesy:

I don't know, maybe. :surprised: :freak:

All my music is on my mom's computer though.

BUT MY MOM HAS A NEW COMPUTER TOO. :surprised:

Is there a way I can last.fm without needing my music library or whatever on the computer?

I don't know, but it basically works when you play anything on your music players e.g. iTunes or Winamp and the Last.fm will scrobble all the tracks to the Internet. So roughly I think you have to have your own music in your computer.

Get all of them transferred to Mr Laptop :whip:

I don't have a big enough hard drive. :|

Well, I'll see if I can convince my mom to let me use it on her computer.

(and here)

Buy one.

Or maybe you can borrow a bigger one from someone.

How big is the external hard drive space that you have now?

My english is horrible.

What do you mean? :uhoh:

You don't have an external hard drive?

That's what she said. :awesome:

Like, to store stuff on? My mom has a terrabyte one she uses for storage. Why. :|

I think you can tell last.fm which "drives" to scrobble. So if you share her files over the network from her drive, you can choose to scrobble music from that network drive from your computer... if that makes sense... or you can play stuff on your ipod, and when you sync your ipod with itunes, last.fm can detect your ipod and what it played

if you plug in the drive directly to your computer, yes. If you don't plug it in directly you'll need to share that drive over the network and map the drive...
