Ugghh it took me an hour to pick up my sister and her friend and drop her off and then drive home. And I live in a pretty small town and there was no traffic.

My sister's friend was writing a provincial exam (day 4) and she wasn't done so she stayed 20 minutes after the bell to finish (which you're not usually allowed to do..I took that exam a year early and we had to hand it in even if we weren't done:angry:) and my sister stayed and waited for her, not bothering to come and tell me. So I was waiting in the car in -30C weather with the heat blasting. And I think there might be a problem with the heating in the car cause I smelt gas after a while. And I feel like I have carbon monoxide poisoning :uhoh:

And a provincial exam is just an exam that every student in the province has to take. So this one was 12th grade english, so every grade 12 english student in the province has to take it the year they take that course. Fun times :rolleyes:

Blah we're not going anymore cause we were going to watch from my mom's store (it's on one of the streets that the torch was going to travel on) but since it's so cold they cut the route in half and are changing to location of the celebration. And now only 2000 ppl get to go to the celebration because the room is too small (the room is in a big centre...i dont get why they cant use the whole place :rolleyes:) so I'm not going to watch out in the cold. Oh well! :dozey:

 

haha sorry for my rant. They are handling this torch relay really strangely :\ I mean, we live in the one coldest provinces in the country and these are the WINTER olympics. OF COURSE it was going to be cold, so why can't they dress warm?! gawd.
