Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me?

I and my band want soo badly to learn how to play Chinese Sleep Chant. We have read and tried the tabs that are widely posted on the internet, and have given it a go a coupple of times.

Our problem lies with exactley the difference from lead guitar (i.e Johnny) to Rythem (i.e Chris).

Could someone please point out what they are both playing and when, and also what they are playing separetly and together too?

Also is there anything particular else i should know, like different tuning or specific settings on the amps?

Whenever I play it, I watch the video from Amsterdamn, that secret gig. To see exactly what the delay settings are. Match those up.

Next if you have a Fender or a Single coil set up, us the Middle and Neck to get that high treble sound. You have a dual Humm, use the neck one.

Turn the overdrive way up, treble up on the amp I usually got at around 8 with middle around 6 and bass roughly 4. All depends on your ear I guess.

For most of the song they are playing the same thing, until the chorus then you can hear Jonnnys lead kick in. You should be able to find it by screwing around with a couple major scales. It'll be easy to base it off Jons solo in the song.
