I love him, he's one of my favourite artists, deep lyrics, and good, smart pop music, he should teach all the shit out there how to do a good record. He also is into a very advanced type of music, like in the albums Bajo el Signo de Caín and Laberinto, which is not pop, but something higher. He is a really talented guy. I love all his stuff, even some oldy ones like Amiga <3

indeed he have some good songs, as you say pop ones....

i prefer his old works better than his new material.
