Any other fans here?

They are a german band formed in 1991, just discovered them today. :)

(in fact i'm listening to their compilation album now).

Their official site. [here]

btw one of their songs is called "Rainy Day"

They only had one really big hit, and that was "Lemon Tree", which I loved at the time. A very happy tune indeed.

After that they pretty much sank without trace.:dozey:

... i've noticied that....

well the fact a band gets a hit it doesn't mean they are a good band for me.... there are many really good bands that never get a hit, so sad that.

Well that's the only song anyone really knows, anyway. It reminds me of my time in Switzerland, which is where I first heard it.:D

Our local radio station played "Lemon Tree" for months at about the same time EVERY morning when I was on the way to school.

(Two years later they did the same with "I'll be missing you"...)

How did you find them?

actually i ran across them one day when i was searching for i think the verve, and someone mislabeld them... it was a good mistake. I heard Lemon Tree which is a great song!

Well they got one thing right, anyway. They had the good sense to sing in English!!:D

that's true, so many good bands don't get known out their countries due to the language.
