Some flats have heating, but most of them haven't. Ours didn't have heating and the windows were pretty old (the one in the kitchen couldn't even be closed) ... and we were in the mountains, so it was pretty cold.

What crazy people would live in the mountains and not have heating? I live in blazing hot Texas, and everyone has heating. :P

@Kels: Because it's friggin hot in the summer ... but I've been there in winter. I bought a small heater, but it didn't really help that much. It couldn't make up for the fact, that I had a whole in my wall. :P

It's hot in the summer here too... you would only use the heater during winter. :thinking:

No, I've been living with another girl from Germany and a girl from Italy. The flat didn't look that bad at first ... but it turned out to be a whole. :sick:

Don't ask me why ... they simply don't have normal heating. Most of them buy these little heaters you can plug in.
