Ok I recently won £3000 funding for a youth project I had an idea for, and even though the project will take place in my home city, I hope to use the internet as an online portal/network to collect photography from not just all round the country, but across the world.

 

The website is currently at http://bit.ly/1Y0otY but is still under construction, and will be moved to a proper domain in the next month or so.

 

If you got any feedback do tell me.

 

Or if you have any photos, no matter how spontaneous or bizarre they are, send them to me via my email (found on the 'contact' section). As long as they fit in to one of the three categories it doesn't matter.

 

If you could help me out that would be great.

I'm wondering who is going to support Modest Mouse on the 16th :thinking: It's Polvo on the 15th but they're not doing the 16th... being the last gig of the tour and all, I hope they bring some decent group in :nice:

Fingers crossed. :) I really wanted to get a ticket for Modest Mouse at the Shepherds Bush Empire on the 14th, because of Frightened Rabbit being the support act, but it was sold out when I looked. :cry:

What's your opinion on the whole dilemma with The Shins? I was lucky enough to see them on their last, random as hell, tour, but would really like to hear a new album by them. Switching the Mercer's label, firing Sandovall and Crandall (there's a fantastic interview with one of those guys floating around online), I really want a new album by them but then again at the same time, I don't know if I'll be welcoming to it.

Yeah last tour was great... but I'm in the same boat as you about their 4th album, especially after the line-up change which will bring a contrast in sound, as we would expect - (probably something heavier). Such a shame too that they have split with Subpop... such a decent record label!
